I have to say, the name of this porn site immediately had me curious.  You see, my family is Mormon and my first thought is, “how the hell is religion sexy?” But, the second I clicked over I realized how wrong I’d been.  After all, naughty nuns and randy priests have been popular porn troupes for decades now! Why shouldn’t Mormon girls get in on the fun?

The secret to this site is all about the taboo.  It’s a plot-driven peek into an usual - and actually illegal - sect of Mormonism that believes that you become god-like by marrying many wives.  No, I’m not just talking about the porno. This is an accurate description of this secretive sect in real life. The entire world view is taboo. In addition to polygamy, Mormon Girlz heavily features sexualized version of Mormon’s “Sacred Underwear.”  These are conservative undergarments that certain Mormons really wear. In the porn version, expect to see sister wives splashing each other, soaking these thin, white onsies.

In addition to highlighting some of the quirks that make Mormon’s sex lives taboo to mainstream America, you also have some things that are considered taboo within the church itself.  For one thing, pornography is considered sinful in and of itself, as is any sex outside of wedlock. You might think, well, since they’re polygamists, wouldn’t romps between sister-wives be considered within wedlock?  Unfortunately, the Mormon church - particularly the oddly conservative polygamist sects - take a very hard stance against any kind of homosexual acts. You’d think that nearly a century of fighting for legal recognition of their unconventional families would make them sensitive to their LGBT brethren, but alas, self-awareness is not a strong point of most religions (but I suppose I’m getting side tracked).  While IRL Mormon’s tend to shy away from homosexuality, the Mormon Girlz website embraces it with open arms… and legs. Most of the videos feature some hot girl on girl sister wife action.

The taboo elements are really expanded if you click on the “Girls” tab at the top of the page. Instead of describing the stunning young actresses featured on the site, it describes the recurring characters from the videos. For example, there’s Ashleigh, who’s description reads, “Ashleigh is riddled with guilt. Her whole life she has strived to keep her thoughts and actions pure and worthy of her future husband, whoever he might be. She knows that the man President Oaks chooses for her deserves to have her untouched body to himself. But this young polygamy girl with the face of an angel has done something terrible.”  You can choose to click to expand all the “chapters” she appears in.  In her first chapter, she loses her virginity before marriage to a man from her church.  She is then nervous when she’s forced to lie about her purity to the president of her church, who orders her to strip naked and fingers her.   In the next video, she undergoes an invasive exam where the female church leaders can tell she is not a virgin. She is shamed and in the temple, called a whore and spanked with a paddle. In spite of this humiliation, Ashleigh goes on to enter a polygamist marriage and her final chapter is called “Breeding.”  The description of this film makes me think this whole site may actually have been written by some seriously disgruntled ex Mormon, as it reads, “The practice of polygamy isn't only about older men abusing their authority to have sex with younger women, it also serves a sacred purpose: growing the small polygamist population as quickly as possible.”  If my theory is correct, good for them for turning this whole thing into a sacreligious kink.


The site design is really simple.  On the homepage, you have the latest updates with screenshots and a short description.  That works fine if you’re looking for some generic Mormon themed sexy fun times, however I think the best way to go through the site is by following the stories of the individual characters, as described above.  What makes this site truly unique is the stories it builds, the recurring characters, and the episodic quality that mirrors a hardcore soap opera.
